Laptop overheating on linux

I have a Windows11 + EndeavourOS dual boot setup on my HP Victus 16 laptop.
both OS are installed on separate ssds.

The issue is on linux , the laptop overheats even on minimal tasks like 2-3 tabs open in firefox.
I mostly use linux on igpu only, and the temps of cpu and gpu are well under 55-60 degrees.

Something is overheating, but i can't find it.
my laptop has cpu on left side and gpu on right side, and the right side is heating. But I removed dgpu using envycontol.

Furthermore, my crucial ssd also overheats, even though linux is not even installed on it. I have tried swaping the ssds, only the crucial one heats (the other is a samsung)
I have tried everthing i can find; tlp, autocpufreq ,etc nothing works.

There is no such issue on windows , the issue only happens then I boot linux.
I have no clue what to do ,please help

Just grasping at straws here, but I wonder if there's some fan control that's not working under Linux but working ok under Windows? The differing results with different SSDs would seem to contraindicate that, but perhaps the Crucial SSD is just a little closer to the edge of its comfort zone, heat-wise?

I have no experience with that model of HP nor much experience with ssd's in general, so these are just ideas tossed into the wind.

HP bios doesn't expose much for custom fan controls, but the fans do automatically adjust with cpu and gpu usage.
Whatever is causing the heating isn't triggering the fans, so my laptop heats but fans don't automatically spin faster.

The heat is concentrated just below my arrow keys and man it burns . This is definitely not normal, especially when on windows there is no issue.

This is definitely related to linux

Looks like CPU is pinned down with some process using 100% of available cycles, or GPU is running at full power.
Cannot troubleshoot without more extensive Linux knowledge.
full dmesg and inxi reports would be useful to start with. Right now we know next to nothing.

I have turned off my dgpu with envycontrol, that leaves only the cpu.
But it is located on the left side , and heating is happening on the right side.

NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

(This is because I disabled dgpu with envycontrol)

Yes, I keep my laptop clean.
And as I mentioned, there is no issue when running windows.

Thank you for this.
But, I am trying to understand why the heating is even happening in first place.

Heating would be fine if I were running some complex processes, but it is happening even on minimal tasks like browsing.
