Hi. Im trying to install linux on my new PC and any distro i try cant go past the grub screen without setting acpi=off in grub. I have tried Arch and CachyOS as they are supposed to have the latest kernels and no luck. i can boot with acpi=off but its a very unimpressive experience ( laggy mouse, FPS capped at 60, only one monitor works). Can anyone help me where how to even start with this issue. Thanks. From what i understand from claude, it is a bios issue with a possible solution that can be pushed from the kernel side. but im clueless on any of them. i have updated the BIOS to the latest available version. Any help just to steer me into the right direction would help. It is currently dual booted with windows and CachyOS.
