Sorry for late reply the graphics card details is Intel (R)Q45/Q43 Express chipset.Microsoft .WDDM 1.1
Sorry for the late reply.I downloaded Kodachi os on two USBs..same result. It sounds like it might be a corrupted download. Might be? I'd at least ensure that I verified the downloaded iso's integrity.
Did you just copy the ISO to a USB Thumb drive or did you install to a USB Thumb with a tool like Balena Etcher? you have to install it not just put the ISO on a thumb drive that will not work - go here - https://www.balena.io/etcherSorry for the late reply.I downloaded Kodachi os on two USBs..same result.

There is your issue neither of those tools are great with Linux use Balena Etcher insteadI used universal usb installer and Rufus.
Kodachi Linux is using Ubuntu 18.04 as right now.
it is, but worse, upgrading isn't an option because of the many custom /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ files, they will cause to crash the system when trying to upgradeIf that is so, then it has only just short of 10 weeks life left before it becomes a security risk.
