When I get to Edit Partition I don't know what to enter in Mount Point box! Help.

Let's start with the basics. Why are you trying to edit partitions to install Mint? The installer will happily deal with that for you.

I currently have Ubuntu installed. Before I installed ubuntu I partition my hard drive (512 HD) split between Windows 10 and Ubuntu. When I attempt to install Linux Mint I run into the Host name request. I am a Mac person and a obvious rookie with Linux. Thanks for responding.

Do you want to keep ubuntu and windows? or change one , or get rid of them both and just have mint?

You're gonna have to help us help you. That's okay, you're not used to this.

I'd suggest clicking the 2nd link in my signature - about how to ask a good support question. It'd make it more productive.

No, I want to replace Ubuntu with Linux Mint.
There will be an option to fully erase your drive during installation select that.

Will this erase my Windows 10?
If you want to keep Windows 10 and remove Ubuntu you'll have to sign into Windows and delete the Linux partition from disk management.

forget changing the partition yourself, just make sure you know which one ubuntu is on, when you go to install the partition manager should give you the following options,,,
use whole disk
replace ubuntu
replace windows
something else
make sure you select the right partition and replace ubuntu
you will probably have to re-set the windows boot loader after
