Hellooooo

In the Padawan stage, eh?:)

That works. It was in the 2000s, but I regret nothing. I do much of the same when I'm home, but nobody actually cares. The folks in the village probably expect it by now. They do have a police department, but they don't care what I do. Well, they'd care if I broke major laws or was a threat to the community. I couldn't get away with murder, but I can drive through the village sideways in the snow.

It helps to refresh the skills and habits that may have gotten a little rusty over the summer

Yup. The first couple of storms see plenty of residents (and tourists) having issues.

They should probably spend more time going sideways just to practice!

What a great phrase - my life keeps "going sideways" at the most unexpected moments.

@jonsi :-

Late to the party - as usual! - but welcome anyway. They're a great bunch here, so.....enjoy the camaraderie. I know I do!

Mike. ;)

Range-el-E?

Correct. Well, to my ear, it's more 'Range-ah-lee' or 'Range-eh-lee'. But, you're close enough.

You'll also hear 'Range-lee', but it is incorrect.

I am curious, mate. Is your avatar doing a barrel roll, or a 4 point roll, in that picture. Or is he just flying inverted, because he can?:p

That's more like what I was aiming for, but I was trying to write it describing the weird inflection I heard when listening to the locals/tour guide from when I visited the area. I'm not quite sure how to put it into letters. Your's works well enough. There's a Y sound, but it wasn't pronounced as hard.
Oh, don't forget baa haba. (bar Harbour for you non maniacs out there) :p:D Did you ever listen to anything by Marshal Dodge? It was a hoot!

That's Mike's view from outside the tumble dryer!
We never use the tumble dryer on the dogs. It's considered unsafe and the microwave is just as effective.

It took a while to find it because it was from three years ago - and I may have taken unduly many pictures of the BDE. This is Dolly in the position known as "Gee, I'd sure like to have my tummy rubbed... In case you don't have anything else to do with your life."

(Just kidding about the microwave - don't try it.)

So, I would say, flying inverted! Looks like a "cutie pie" to me mate! So, did she get the tummy rub?:)
