Multiple sources and resources are such a linux strength.

It has been pretty static for a while now, unfortunately.

Or, fortunately.... It still works just fine (though the benchmarks will make you chuckle).

I guess you could think of it as 'feature complete'. I'm lazy, but I'm pretty sure I covered that in my article. I could look, but man that was written a seemingly long time ago. LOL

Speaking of which... I need to do tomorrow's article.

Do you plan on having any Debian based versions?

From another forum.

Code:
sudo inxi -FxrzcO -v6

sudo inxi -FxrzcO -v6
dosnt look right to me.

ok so had another look F=full x- extras , R raid devices if fitted, z=filter c=CPU D = disc/drives, -v6 is verbose 6 which is the same as "p" partition information

all of which you get with Fxz [with the possible exception of raid]

I seldom need more information than is provided by inxi -v 5, which is short and easy to remember.

You can increase and decrease that number. The lower the number, the less information. The man page describes the various choices but 5 is pretty much anything I'm going to need from someone.

I found it years ago,
It used to work or I wouldn't have saved it.
Doesn't seem to work on modern Linux distos.
I have no idea why.

I may delete the post.

I wasn't even using Linux when this Thread was created.

Which thread? It looks like several were merged into this chimera...

But going by the first OP date, 2014, I'd been Linux about few years.

Therefore I get to say:
I used Linux before it was cool ;)
(sorry, I had to)

It was always cool - just cool to a slightly different audience. :)

I had just started using Linux when this thread was started.

I started looking at Linux in 2012 when big brother m$ was trying to force me to move to windoze 10 from 7.

In 2015 I moved to Linux permanently and never looked back...stupid me shouldn't have waited that long.
