I need to delete my account. I was making too many errors and aggravating other members.

I was making too many errors
It's alright. We all make errors at some point. I do- all the time. It's how we learn!

If you think of it, That's how the Linux community works in general. Trail and error, and that's why it's a good system to use. Try something, break something, fix something, Learn something. We can't build Legos without trial and error in the instruction process when designing it!

Thread split off to a new thread, as the old thread was not really the place to post this.

That said, we all make mistakes. Eventually, we learn. Linux isn't hard to learn, but it can be hard to learn if you've only used other OSes. As I come from the early days of computing, Linux is like a warm, fuzzy blanket.

If you're frustrated, take a breather. Remind people that you're new and need to understand what you're doing -- and why you're doing it. Let them know that it concerns you to run code on your machine that you're not familiar with.

We have many users, from all walks of life. Someone will come along and help you with almost anything you ask of them

But I'll nuke your account from orbit if that's what you want.

You haven't been here long enough to upset anyone...so I wouldn't worry if I were you.

We all have to learn and in doing so...we make mistakes but that's life.

I've been an emotional wreck these past few years and have offered way too much info about me to total strangers in the forum, which is so unlike me. Errors? Ugh... I'm chock full of them. Gotta be humble and carry on is something I have learned, in general.

@wizardfromoz Might as well delete the account of OP in this request as well, as they haven't been online since.

Lol - you've gotta be quick, Maarten , ;) - I was in and out of CPL in no time.

I'll get this one tomorrow.
