Back when the rock band Styx was just starting out in the Chicago area, their shows would always open with the William Tell Overture (Lone Ranger Theme)... then a loud explosion as the lights came on and the show began. I probably saw that 6 or 7 times before they stopped. RIP John Curulewski and John Panozzo.

Styx are not known for their classical contributions, but here are a couple from their early days.
