clapper vs celluloid

Hello everyone, have a good day
Since my VLC is acting weirdly these days I switched to celluloid but today when I was searching GitHub for some interesting software I found Clapper
Is clapper any good than celluloid?
Have you guys used it?

I haven't used Clapper and I have tried Celluloid to try it out but I have always stuck to VLC because it has always worked for me.Try them both and see which you like better.

Use what works for you. Asking us will only result in us telling you what we prefer. Your preferences may be different and it's up to you to decide what you like and what works best for you. The best way to do that, as @f33dm3bits said, is to try them yourself.

Then, I suppose, you could tell us why you preferred one over the other.
