right now i don't have enough internet data. to go grab antix 26. to see if it's true. they have a 32-bit edition with debian "trixie" base. i seriously doubt this. if so it wouldn't go very far.
it would make sense. if people were told to go ahead. continue using "arditi del popolo" for about two more years. before "that decision" certainly has to be made. to completely abandon 32-bit. to completely abandon hardware that cannot keep up with the ruthless drive forward and upward.

doesn't have a link to any antix 26 iso. i found out about this on distrowatch. download instead from sourceforge. that's why i said i wish i could acquire the iso.
frustratingly, the "readme" to download. has the same exact information. as the panel below the download links. ie. md5/sha256 sums.
i do have the "arditi del popolo" iso. used it for a few months. it was fast. fluxbox was pretty. after a small adjustment i made to the "main theme." basically changed to light blue background. superior to mx linux with a few things. especially the audio playback problems i found in the other. but i disliked the limitations of detecting partitions. needed too much fiddling with "/etc/fstab". tried to install thunar but it didn't work. kept going with the junk about "needing gvfs".
congratulations to the antix crew. don't mind my doubts. but i had to express myself this way.
