There is a website that I frequently recommend in political discussions (hxxp://www[.]ginandtacos[.]com/2008/08/31/atheistsfoxholes-libertariansairplanes/ - the URL is intentionally altered as I am studying cybersecurity practices). I've noticed that my Debian system no longer loads said page when I'm using Firefox or Konqueror - but the page loads when I use the Tor browser. I that doesn't have "https only" feature enabled on either browser - but the page just times out any time I attempt to access it.
I have checked system settings - nothing seems to indicate an issue.
I have checked online for a fix - nothing shows on what to check to resolve the issue - I also figure that if there was a system setting, that it would also apply to Tor, which isn't the case. I have also checked the site on my Android phone - which shows up without an issue.

If anyone would have any suggestions, I would be very grateful...

It works just fine in Firefox here.
I use FF v146.0.1, do you use Firefox ESR?

Try disabling all extensions or clearing browser cache.
If not working reset FF to factory defaults.

Just tried it from the UK it is not an HTTPS site however when i drop the HTTP and just paste from the www, it connects to a site not available banner, it may be recently banned in some countries or even shut down

In firefox there's a setting named "Enable DNS over HTTPS" which, as the text says:

Domain Name System (DNS) over HTTPS sends your request for a domain name through an encrypted connection, providing a secure DNS and making it harder for others to see which website you’re about to access.

If that is turned on, and by default it often is, then the DNS resolver the browser is using is provided securely by firefox. One can test whether that is the obstacle by turning it off in Settings and using another DNS server such as the default DNS server of the installation which is often provided by the ISP, or a user can configure their DNS through their networking management app or by configuring the
/etc/resolv.conf file if it's available and not ignored as it can be by some systemd unit.

One can configure different browsers with different DNS configurations to check to see whether that makes a difference. In other words, checking the DNS first might be useful to put that to rest in case it isn't the issue.

Just standard FF over Flatpak - no ESR.
This issue also occurs over Konqueror, with no settings changed upon that browser, which caused me to think that it is some system setting causing the issue.

No improvement after performing the steps. Issue also occurs with Konqueror - no settings have been altered there, and no extensions have been added to that browser; cache clearing hasn't improved be issue on Konqueror either.

Good morning, I ran the above address this morning on 3 diffrent is it down checkers, 2 said no its working, 1 said it was down, so gave it a try and yes it connected for me. [Firefox with blockers, from UK]
