Hi there,
I have set up a Windows Gaming VM trough KVM via GPU Passtrough. However I want to output the sounds of my Windows VM on my Host machine. The I read in threads and forums, you have to edit the XML and add:

I have tried following one after one
nano /etc/pulse/client.conf
in the editor I have modified ; autospawn = yes
then next step done is

added couple of lines

My microphone does not record the first second of speech. When I try to record a voice message, I don't hear the first few words and then the recording goes fine. It happens about once in ten times. Are there any ways to fix this? I am using Debian 11 and pulseaudio 16.1.
No idea where else to put this...
It creates various pulseaudio sinks with mplayer as the backend. It takes stereo sources and uses the dirty mplayer tricks to blow it up to 2.1-5.1 without stupidly copying the front channels to the back/center/lfe. It's by far perfect since it introduces some...

I have multiple users open at once in Manjaro, for a streaming platform but I can't figure out how to make them all use the same "mic" option, to pull the audio from streaming from the main user, like I'd like for them all to be...
Hi,
when I open spotify or open a youtube video, pulseaudio forgets my current audio device and changes it to another one (In most cases the onboard audio. My main headset is connected to an amp over USB). It has worked flawlessly before with that amp. When I deactivate all devices except my...
I have seen the pinned thread regarding what to do in case of no sound, and restarting pulseaudio works fine for me. As does the much longer process of rebooting that I was previously undertaking.
However I have a few related questions to alsa/pulse. I don't really want to ask on SE as there...
Hello, I'm trying to run PulseAudio's 'module-echo cancel' filter on my bluetooth speaker(output only).
I've edited /etc/pulse/default.pa like that:

set-default-source...

I've been having a really weird issue with pulseeffects on my Arch installation. Sometimes it will just stop working and I have to run pulseeffects -q to restart for it to work again.
In the past I usually had a lot of audio crackling and jittering at times using pulseeffects. There is...

Here's a heads up about an unusual audio related problem I finally fixed on my laptop the other day (running Debian Testing).
A couple of weeks ago I had my laptop plugged into one of our TV's via the HDMI port and had all of my audio routed through the TV so my wife and I could watch some...
