Hello everyone!
Could you recomment Linux for a weak PC (intel 2 cores + 4 GB DDR3) which can work with an Android emulator?
Also I need the emulator for basic programms like messengers
Thanks in advance

Welcome, would this be an intel twin-core T series? if so any distribution you like, I can't help with Android emulators as I have never felt the need to pollute my Linux.
There have been experiments for the last 10 years to port Android to the Linux kernel, but I am not up-to-date with how far they have got.

Yup, Pentium T4200.
I've read a lot of information about emulators and now I'm thinking about the lightest of them. Because the main reason is to use the laptop for simple work in browser and messengers.
Maybe someone else knows and could help me with it.
Thanks for the information.

I have Xubuntu with Virtualbox installed so android-x86 runs in a virtual machine. The few android apps I use seem to work OK for cheap WiFi cameras and Hive IOT devices. No need for other apps but Google Play works.

As suspected, similar to my 2010 dell Lapp [running Mint LMDE] hint you will find it runs quicker with an SSD rather than the original plate spinner [if you don't already have one]

Got you. Thanks

You might not have enough resources to comfortably run an emulator, but you can certainly try. I'd just ensure that I kept my resident applications to a minimum while trying to use the emulator.

Linux has sufficient browsers and messenger apps to choke a horse.

What am I missing?....why is anything from android remotely necessary ?

As @Brickwizard said, up above...""I can't help with Android emulators as I have never felt the need to pollute my Linux.""
