Which linux visualiser(s) do you recommend (and how do you use them)?

An acquaintance of reminded me that there might be some good linux visualisers to go with the music.
Which one(s) do you recommend?

I was about to use "projectm" but then realised that I have no idea where it gets installed and how to use it.
So I thought I'd ask here first instead. Others showed up in the pacman list, but I'd rather have some info before trial and error installing of software(s) that I don't know how to use yet.

I usually listen through audacious or mpv.
Please let me know if you have any decent recommendations.
They just add a nice ambience to the listening experience sometimes.

Thanks in advance.

@909mjolnir :-

You mean like the sort of things that the old Windows Media Player used to provide? AFAIK, Audacious provides a few of its own.....

I use the in-built 'Blur Scope', docked to the bottom, and 'expanded' to make it bigger:-

Sorry there's no sound with it. I can record from the webcam or headset just fine....but 'loopback' from the internal card has always been a king-sized bitch on this HP Pavilion..!

Mike. ;)

VLC has some built-in visualizations for audio tracks.

Once upon a time, you could add .milk (see ProjectM) files to VLC and have hundreds of visualizations. I just spent way too long poking at that without success. So, you're on your own with that one.
