If I want something in flatpak format, I just go find it. I have a bunch of retro gaming flatpaks installed, and I just found them via flathub. I'm not sure that I'd need/want software just for this purpose.
Also, if I'm using Mint, it'll show flathub's offerings when I search. At least I'm told that it does. I've never actually used it. I do all my software installations via the terminal, including installing flatpaks.
But, I could see people enjoying this. It'd be a good way to discover more flatpaks. You might find that there's some software you could use but you never thought about it before. So, you can poke around in this software to see what golden nuggets you'll uncover.
