Wanting advice for Getting started on my Linux journey

Hi there,
i am a new user of Linux and don't know what to do if anyone can teach me how i learn Linux please help me out i am starting my journey with AWS and need to learn Linux. but don't know from where to start.

Would you also mind changing your topic to something meaningful, having the same topic as the category you posed in is not very useful and will likely cause people to not read your topic.

Best way to learn Linux is to have a goal in mind and to use Linux. I would first install Linux on your desktop so that you start using it daily and get the basics down, you can then use that basic knowledge to learn other things where Linux is used.

To tell you what to do, first we need to know what you already know. Are you working on windows? If yes for how long?
If we know about your skill level, we can suggest you what to do and from where you can start.

There are may online helps to learn Linux some free some paid. It all depends a bit on what you want to do with it. Best way of course is to install or use a live usb and use it and ask questions here. This page has been helpful to some.

The best advice I can give you is to remember that Linux is not Windows. So many users expect everything to be the same in Linux, and it is not.

I'd like to add a word of caution. When you are searching online for information and tips on using Linux, whatever distro you choose, be mindful of when and where the information you find is from.
Commands and procedures documented years ago may no longer work, or worse, may create unexpected and or dangerous results. Also, and this is just my opinion, anything posted on sites like wikipedia and reddit should be cross checked with more experienced users before you make use of the information you find there.
I'm not trying to cast them in a bad light, but I have encountered .... discrepencies in information gleaned there in the past.
