From watching the community, it looks like there are going to be a number of viable options for dealing with the CentOS debacle.

I never heard of that one, seems there are plenty of Rhel clones alternatives popping up but the big question is how many of those can we expect to keep going for the coming years. I can imagine that not all those project have the funding or capacity to be sure that they will exist far into the future. I think most CentOS users will jump ship to RockyLinux, I'm currently still running Springdale Linux.

That's my guess. I'm waiting to find out how long they plan on supporting each version. I've yet to actually see an EOL date, even a projected EOL date. I've searched a few times but not found anything.

One of the things that made CentOS so great was the duration of support.
