Ubuntu, and the official flavors, have reached the EOL for version 23.04.

This means it is no longer safe to operate this version. You should upgrade as soon as possible. In fact, you should have already upgraded to the next version - because support ended yesterday. I'm a day late sharing this.

If you do have an interim release and don't like to upgrade every 9 months, you should consider the long-term stable version. In fact, the next LTS version of Ubuntu will have 12 years of support. So, you can jump onto the next LTS build pretty soon. (That'll be 24.04.)

So, that's something to look forward to, especially in the business and server realms. Though the extended support would cost them, it's perfectly free for you (for up to three devices).

Anyhow, if you're using Ubuntu (or an official flavor) version 23.04, it's time to move on and grab 23.10.
