Trying to update DAB radio using Windows download - any way to do it?

I'm trying to update my mum's old DAB radio, as it now hardly receives any channels at all (a Pure One Classic, in case anyone has any experience of them). The update centre on their website only has firmware files available for Windows or Mac. I tried downloading the Windows files, just to see, and it lets me save them as 'windows or DOS program', but I can't run them. Is there any way to do this using Linux? Everyone in the family uses Linux now, so I can't even get someone else to try it on a different system!

The only thing I can think of trying (Besides a Win VM) Is Wine or Bottles.
I have no personal "Usage" except their website.
I am sorry that I can't be of much help.
