I'm not sure when the option appeared, but it has been working for me so far. You can now automate updates in Linux Mint. This is something that I can appreciate and so I enabled it. I left it running and it appears to work just fine.

No, updates don't scare me. I haven't had a borked system from updates in forever. Then, when I have, it has always been a simple fix. Then, more importantly, that wasn't due to applying them automatically as they were applied manually.

We'll see if it breaks anything long-term. I haven't had an update bork my system in ages. When I do it manually, I run the update command multiple times a day. This is actually updating less often, as it only does it once a day.
