Solved Timeshift schedule question

Solved issue
Damn i'm kinda curious now
Soooo, I had a look at the source code. I mean it says right away that it's a "haram blocker", it kinda make sense that it also block adult content, gambling and similar stuff. Also apart of some stuff like not using XDG path and having all the code on a single python it doesn't seem too bad from my not so great experience as a python developer, maybe you can explain it better to me?

I will not derail this thread for that purpose.

the reality is....there is no need for a stand alone hosts file anymore.

I'm sure I've mentioned this before, so this is more so that other people know.

If you're using one of the ad-blocking tools from Raymond Hill (uBlock Origin, uBlock Origin Lite), you can still use a few different host files. You just head into the options and scroll down. You'll find a few host file lists, and you can add them to your filter list.

The master of Timeshift is @wizardfromoz.

OD - On Demand, for me.

I use it once a month, or as needed (tinkering with something important), and use the Comments field extensively.

I've probably used it closer to 20,000 times than to 15,000, and have been using it since the year of its development, 2014.

Reason I only use it once a month is that I run 85 to 90 distros on this rig, and each and every one has Timeshift on it.

Cheers

I run 85 to 90 distros on this rig,
hey just a quick question, I saw in one of your post that your rig where the 90 distro are installed seems to be a laptop, how much space does it have?

Off Topic, but it's a Dell Inspiron 5770 c. 2019. 1x2.0TB SATA HDD, and 1x256GB SSD internally, and hooked in is a WD MyBook 4TB, mains powered USB 3.0 connected.

The distros are distributed over the 3 drives and I have about 1TB or more to spare.

Cheers
