Yeah looks like there are 0 inodes left, no wonder system is unusable.
HDD is sda right?
 


Did you run memtest. Also check dmesg for errors. Finally check temp.
I don't know why would you reformat disk?
As long as disk type is compatible with the kernel and your system there is no such thing as cpu/hdd incompatibility.
Disk errors are easy to check so if you do not suffer data loss forget about disk issues.
The system showed a notification saying that the hdd would fail. I didn't format it, I installed an SSD and created the swap partition; I didn't have any more problems.
