@KGIII :-But, once you get used to the 'XenForo way', it's not too terrible. The ACP is easily searched, even if some of the names are a bit cryptic.
We all had access to the MCP right from the word go; Erik had made all of us "globals" - I think 'Super Mod' is the XenForo equivalent? I noticed @Brickwizard was 'briefly' listed as 'just' a mod for a few hours - right from the start.
When all this crap with the AI scraper bots started to really kick in last year, we were also granted access to the ACP as well.....because one thing it allows is bulk deletion of members and/or posts/threads. The MCP doesn't permit that, but with the sheer amount of posts that were getting through - we had a spell of determined spammers get in on the act around the same time! - it only made sense. Erik's only one guy, and has to sleep at some point.....so we were able to 'cover' between us.
As you say, 'ordinary' members do NOT get to see HOW the sausage is made!
Mike.
