Which one is the correct term?

anyway, many moons ago I installed MX 25.1 into my MacAir 3.1(or smth) It's good, only got hiccups on boot(nothing to worry about, just reboot and I'm good) and it has been reliable for me as a teaching Laptop {could use some extra ram but CURSE YOU AI!!!!!!}

I suddenly want to install fedora on my system just because.... YOLO, and I like the appearance of the fedora a bit, thinking Fedora OS sign in to my work/teaching browser so my students don't have to risk seeing my personal stuff

How reliable is it? keep in mind I Delete the MacOs on my system

@SEAPOPSICLE :-

Dual-booting multiple Linux distros; nae problem. Trying to do the same with Linux & Windows.....BAD idea. Like VERY bad....

You are at least proposing to do it the right way. Kudos for that, at any rate.

Others can help with the boot-loader 'nitty-gritty' (if needed). In the weird'n'wacky world of Puppy Linux, bootloading is somewhat different to almost everything else out there.....and I haven't used a "mainstream" distro for a VERY long time.

Nothing I could tell you would be relevant, I'm afraid.

Mike. ;)
