The program starts to install in a virtual machine using Windows 10 then crashes with an error msg “Failed to stop ProPresenter Helper-Workspaces.” Propresenter is the software my church uses on Sundays to show song lyrics and sermon points. I had it on my computer when I was still using Windows which I no longer am. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get past this issue. Bottles is supposed to automatically remove the problem file but it doesn't. Thanks.

first thing to try is update bottles, in Ubuntu from the terminal run
sudo apt update && apt upgrade -y
then run
flatpak update com.usebottles.bottles

that usually fixes the most common errors however another common problem is NVIDIA graphics card drivers, do you have NVIDIA not sure then from the terminal run inxi -G
sorry i cannot be more specific as I am not familiar with the Windows app your trying to run

After running the sudo apt update script I got the following errors:
ppa.launchpadcontent.net/mc3man/gstffmpeg-keep/ubuntu jammy release 404 Not Found [ IP: 2620:2d:4000:1::81 443]
ppa.launchpadcontent.net/mc3man/gstffmpeg-keep/ubuntu jammy Release does not have a Release file
When I launch the Update Manager I get the same message as the second one above.

When I run the second script for flatpak I get the following msg:
Looking for updates..
Nothing to do.

I do have an Nivdia RTX 5060 card.
How do I fix these errors?

ppa.launchpadcontent.net/mc3man/gstffmpeg-keep/ubuntu jammy release 404 Not Found [ IP: 2620:2d:4000:1::81 443]

These are not supported in jammy if you don't need them best to remove them then run the update

Nivdia RTX 5060

I got fed up with bottles and wine and installed a vm and everything is good now. Thanks for your help. BTW how do you mark a thread as solved?
