Hi, I'm new here

Welcome.

We have an introductions sub-forum kicking around here somewhere, should you feel so inclined.

We always enjoy new folks who will participate well enough.

I've been trying to get the Mrs to start using and learning Linux and tried several of the flagship distros and she didn't care for any of them.

I started using Pop OS maybe a couple of weeks and she sat down and started playing around with Pop OS and likes it and started using it.

I know I'm impressed with Pop OS.

This is my experience exactly. I tried so much to get my ex to use beginner distro but it's like garlic to vampires.
Same with my tech savvy and non tech savvy friends. Instead, now I just debloat their Windows system and install open source programs replacing proprietary ones.

You hit that nail on the head I gave up trying and low and behold outa nowhere BAM!

I'll never figure them out and ain't about to ask why besides don't want to create waves and have a regression.

For Thanksgiving- Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it.

For logistics reasons, we had our feast yesterday.

My desktop for December 2022 (and potentially onward). I'm running EndeavourOS as I've found it to be quite fast and simple to use (for an Arch distro anyways xD).
