I have a QNAP TS-433 with 40 TBs, when after transitioning from Windows to Pop! OS 24.04 I lost my Windows Explorer (COSMIC Files in Pop! OS, obviously) ability to see my files. I can still access it via Brave, Chromium or Firefox and my Android cell phone, but I cannot get it to access it from my PC, I have tried "//[IP]/" "smb://[IP" "smb://[IP:port]" "ssh://[IP]" "ssh://[IP:port]" no luck, I wonder if there is a network setting I need to enable or something. I have check all of my NAS' settings, all access is open via authentication. Network Service, MS Networking, Apple Networking (AFP), NFS Sevice, FTP Service, TFTP Service, Management Service, NAS Web Mngt Interface, SSH Service, Telnet, SNMP, Applications, Web Server, RTRR Server, Rsync Server, WIN/Mac/NFS/WebDAV all configured over IPv6 and IPv4 Loopback.

Please help...

Hello there,

Sorry for silly question, are you sure that Samba is installed, active in Pop OS ?

Try installing another file-manager and see if you can do it from there, ie: pcmanfm. Also there's this bug report about for Cosmic Files which is still open.

This is interesting, after an update which included COSMIC Files, mounting as smb://[IP]/[Sharename] worked.
Now, my questions is can it be configured to be mounted automatically when I reboot my computer?
