Hi
I just got a Dell 5430 2 in 1 chromebook, I had a 5420 that I installed Ubuntu in, but this one is newer and it has a touch screen and tablet mode, so as my boss told me to keep one(We are destroying the chromebooks now that we are moving away from them, this one was brand new, not gonna go to waste now :) ) I decided to try Pop!OS as I am learning Java and will do python as well, so I know Pop!OS is good for that and "fully" compatible with my ex-chromebook.

The issue is that I created the USB and after the reboot, it started upside down
OFC "xrandr -o normal" is just a temp fix
I tried this:

And none of the solutions worked, so I removed iio-sensor-proxy but I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to solve that issue as I would love to have that functionality.
I know that fingerprint will not work as this was a chromebook and apparently that is not compatible between linux and a chromebook computer but I thought the tablet mode was compatible

Any assistance would be very much appreciated!

Thanks!

Is there a reason you want to use PopOs? If not, give ZorinOS a go. it works correctly on my dell 2 in 1. touchscreen works, rotation sensor works etc.

My take would be to switch to Wayland (if possible with PopOS) first, and see if that changes things automagically.
If I'm not mistaken, current ZorinOS also uses Wayland.
