I recently (past six months or so) got rid of a bunch of VMs as I wasn't using them and they were needing to be updated which is a bit of a pain in the butt. Bodhi was among those cut. I don't think I'd booted into that OS for a year by that point.

But, I recall Bodhi being surprisingly light and quick, even with the constrained resources of a virtual machine. Is it still lightweight in behavior, even after installing the various apps it didn't ship with?

Yep it is very lite weight and surprisingly fast even on older machine.
Of course the more you add to it the less light weight it will become.

I may have to download it and play with it some more.
