MSI 14 AI - Network Card disappears?

Hello all,

I have a laptop, an MSI 14 AI Evo C1MG-048US where the wifi network card works perfectly fine for a set time, but after so long, the network disconnects and I have to reboot the device for it to show up again.

This is a WiFi 7 card, as far as I know, does anyone else have any experience and have any feedback?

It may be a power setting that's automatically disabling it.

Search for:

"Linux disable power save for the wireless adapter"

(No quotes, and at your favorite search engine.)

Strange.. You may be correct, I am attempting to change to disabled now but why would it fail to recover and go back into active state? Any idea?

My stab in the dark is that it recovers when the power state changes and it resumes activity.

I'm not 100% certain that this is the problem, but I'm REALLY confident that that's the first thing I'd look at if I had those symptoms. It's one of the easiest things to eliminate as a problem -- and it's also the problem on a regular basis.
