It creates it's own profile and doesn't mess with Firefox/Firefox-beta profiles.

I've also never seen a destructive bookmark import process. That one is new to me.

It quite possibly could have gone into its own thread, as I'm not sure that it has much to do with the patches made by Firefox.

LibreWolf updated yesterday (australian time) to ....

Neither does LibreWolf although I it's mentioned in the opening thread.

Indeed, though I'd have put it in a thread of its own - assuming you're looking for more information about it, or possibly wanting a solution. If you're not, it's all good. That's why I said 'possibly', because it's possible that you don't actually want to discuss it as its own topic and you're merely mentioning it in passing.

I'd have likely chosen a new thread. You can still do so, if you want. Otherwise, it's not something to lose sleep over.

For further edification, at its most basic level.

""For instance, LibreWolf does not have any connections to the Mozilla server by default. This also means that LibreWolf gets rid of Telemetry.""
The changes are subtle, but they are there, for those who choose to look closely enough, and are discerning enough to appreciate those differences

Nope I'm good using Firefox.
I should have stuck with my guns and left LibreWolf dead and buried.

Missed that one also kinda a like I missed the LDME instead of LMDE.

Nope it's a done and over and won't lose no sleep.

Brave browser claimed similar things about no telemetry.

Brave browser claimed no user data collected would ever be sold.

Brave browser got busted lying about selling collected user data.

They are all true blue for awhile until they get everyone's trust built up.

And BAM do the same thing Google and Microsoft does collects user data and sells the collected user data.

Disclaimer.
I'm not trying to start any argument or make anyone mad.

Until a guilty verdict is handed down....I believe in their innocence

I also have faith in the fact that with all the people who spend their days investigating the many and various browsers and their habits and claims, (among a myriad of other things), that any "holes" or 'mis truths'/lies in the statements that Librewolf has made ....would have well and truly been laid bare by now.
