Dont worry.....I gave it a good clean, just in readiness for this occasion....
Brian, you, and anyone else here who knows me well will know that hardware is not my forte, but have you tried removing and then reseating the CMOS battery?

G'day Chris. No, I haven't tried that as yet
Might put that on tomorrow's list.
If that doesn't work at least I will have something to do resetting the bios setings !
