I've been using MariaDB for quite a while. At this point, I only have some 'legacy' stuff that still runs MySQL. (That and, well, I'm not a huge fan of Oracle.)

Credit where credit is due... Oracle has actually been good for MySQL, Java, etc...

I still pretty much despise them, and I can't think of anything they can do to change my mind. [REDACTED. as they're very litigious.]

We managed to make due, and it all worked out in the end. We recovered from the hit.
