How can I install Linux server software on a Linux based thin client?

This does not make a lot of sense at the moment.

A thin client is a lightweight computer which makes a remote connection with a server. The server does most of the work.

What is the thin client you have? What is the MAKE and MODEL? How much RAM and storage does it have?

Do you want to install either complete server software on the thin client or just some server software (what?) on it. Why?

More information please.

Enough to cover the normal skin software available from the service sites.

I tried to explain the limitations of a thin client to @msah earlier in this thread, but I can't seem to get him/her to understand.

One more try.....

1. A thin client can ONLY be a client device in a client-server relationship.
2. A thin client can never be a computer.
3. A thin client can never be a server.

I cannot find anything on the Internet that contradicts #1-3 above. If someone sold you this thin client and told you it was a computer.... they lied to you. You should try to get your money back.

Cheers
