Yesterday I installed Linux Lite in a dual boot with Linuxfx {Windowsfx} Windowsfx was already installed.
I manually partitioned so I had to shrink Linuxfx's partition to about 1/2 of it's size to make room for the Linux Lite installation.
After partitioning the partition manager told me I had both partitions marked as / and I couldn't do that.
So I gave Linux Lite's partition a mnt point of /boot.
The partition manager told me that if I didn't format the Linuxfx partition that all of the root files would be deleted so I checked the box to format it.
When my friends Toshibia laptop boots Linuxfx doesn't show in the Grub Menu so I ran sudo update-grub.
Udating Grub did not help.
Opening gparted and giving Linuxfx a 'boot flag' didn't help either.
I tried updating Grub again and upon reboot Linux Lite is still the only distro in the Grub Menu.
How do I get the Linuxfx os to show in the Grub Menu so I can choose between it and Linux Lite?
Linuxfx is on /dev/sda1 and Linux Lite is on /dev/sda3.
