Lexar NM790 NVME fails to initialize

Just turn off the secure boot before install and it will work. Tested on MSI GE78HX Ubuntu 22.04 Kernel 6.2.0-33

Does anybody know if this is already in one of the official kernel releases?
I'm using switching back to 6.1 kernel as a workaround.
But I recently upgraded my other PC with the same SSD and 7800xt. 7800xt is only compatible from kernel 6.3, so my workaround doesn't work. I'd like to avoid building my own kernel.

I was having this issue with a Lexar NM790 4TB on a 6.2.0 kernel.
It now works after I installed the latest kernel available, 6.5.7, using the mainline kernel updater.

dmesg now:
Code:
[ 0.903960] nvme nvme0: pci function 0000:0a:00.0
[ 0.910441] nvme nvme0: bad crto:0 cap:8202020ff0103ff
[ 0.920966] nvme nvme0: allocated 40 MiB host memory buffer.
[ 0.925489] nvme nvme0: 4/0/0 default/read/poll queues
[ 0.936673] pps pps1: new PPS source ptp1
[ 0.936706] igc 0000:07:00.0 (unnamed net_device) (uninitialized): PHC added
[ 0.949270] nvme0n1: p1
I kind of regret buying a cheap drive.

Confirm this worked for me using mainline updater on 6.5.10  with Ubuntu 23.10
