Hyprland users, modules or one big config

Those running Hyprland, did you make modules for everything or just run one big config file? I did modules for my first install with Gentoo, but I installed Nixos on my studio laptop and figured, if one giant config file works for Nixos, why not Hyprland? Just curious what the actual pros and cons are, personal preference aside...

I'm not using Hyprland any more since they switched their configuration file to lua because I'm not wanting to learn lua in order to get my previous setup working, but I just had one big configuration file then. I don't see the point in splitting it up as I only used it Hyprland on one system not like I was using Hyprland on several diferrent systems and needed some stuff on or off so splitting it up in modules I found a waste of time for myself.
