How Do You Know When Your Power Supply Fails.

You press the Tower's Power button and nothing happens.

That happened yesterday...at least I was right about my Motherboard failing a few months ago because I put in my old power supply and nothing happened but this time the old power supply started it strait away. I have a new one just have to install it...this one lasted 4.5 years...what next.

Not the first power supply to fail me...the one before lasted 6 years...press power button got start...stop...start...stop.

When my Tower wont start...the first thing I do is put in the old one...if it starts I know what is as in this case but you might get no warning... I always have a spare just in case.

The spear is for me to fall on trying to workout how to fix this Grub Bootloader problem I don't have...stupid me.

New power supply in and working.

Power supplies still have these old Molex cables that don't connect to anything.
