How can I change the cursor on Ubuntu-Mate 22.04?

I installed Gnome_Tweaks, but this is all I got.

There is no option to change from Yaru.

Have you installed files into .icons folder inside your home directory

EDIT: You don't need gnome tweaks while mate uses GTK. You can change theme, cursors, icons with appearance app. There is pointer section where you can select cursor you installed into .icons.

Select Customize there you find Pointer section. :)

I want to get rid of the stupid spinning pointer when some action is being done.

I know a 40 Gb file will take a while to be copied to a thumb drive. :-)

I would be interested in beta testing of Ubuntu-Mate.

There is a boatload of improvements that could be made.

Like I could suggest that there are elder folks out there.

I am 70 years old. I like to keep things simple.

There comes a point when there are "way too many bells and whistles." :-)

Thanks.
