LOL You missed my question - though you don't have to answer. I'm just curious about which version of Linux you picked. Many folks start with Mint.

LOL mint 19.3 im still learning the lingo "distro"="os"

There are many kinds of Linux. The distro is the stuff packaged around the kernel. The OS is Linux. The distro is Linux Mint.

And, that's a great choice to start with. I think? I think they may have a newer version, which might have been easier so that you don't have to upgrade it to a new version for a while longer.
