What a shame. Hope they find a way back soon.:eek:

is back on line
Lucky they seem to have salvaged most of the information, Piss poor service from their hosting company throwing them out , it's not Puppy's fault it was attacked.

PUPPY LINUX SITES -- Two more that are up

Mike_Walsh at Puppy Linux Corner, bleepinbgcomputer.com has posted that "All puppy users are welcome here.'

Additionally, micko's site is available for Slacko Linux downloads.

A good hosting company works with the customer and the NOC when there's a DDOS - and also mitigates attacks so that other sites aren't affected. That's a darned shame. I wonder how much space and bandwidth they need for the forum itself?

Also, why would anyone care enough about Puppy to DDOS them? The price to DDOS has gone down, but it's still pretty expensive - especially to sustain it. Unless you have your own botnet, it's a pretty costly affair. People don't just give you access to their botnet for free or 'cause they like you. Well, not anymore... These days, it's all a for-profit venture.
