Distro Loyalism is Peak Goofiness. Just Use Arch, Fedora, or Debian

therefore you're compiling from source? that's a different matter.
I was talking about using prebuilt packages from AUR.
Yeah I was talking about PKGBUILDS that use the source code to build the package as most AUR PKGBUILDS use that for opensource software, not binaries or snaps or flatpaks converted to binaries and proprietary software There are PKGBUILDS that use pre-built binaries from the same source repo but those are listed with -bin in the name.

install RedStarOS
It's not bad idea though, a while ago I was thinking about using Chinese or Russian email, was using Yandex browser as well for same reason which is that it makes harder for your government (or block) to gather info about you.

North Korea and western countries very likely don't share intelligence so you could stay hidden.
Your country or block also doesn't have power to gain access to user data from some eastern country by using Law as excuse.

I once heard someone say it's best to install two firewalls to protect you from both parties that could potentially have backdoors in them.

Tbh, I can't stand Arch Linux. It's too much work and I'm tired of this grandpa! I just want to be able to blindly install my packages and never have to worry about all the scary hackers n meany faces out there trying to break my stuffs.
Just install Bazzite then or an immutable/atomic distribution/image with Hyprland ;)
