I bumped into it via a circuitous route. I did an apt-cache search for 'baobab'. I then decided to further investigate 'junior-system' and that turned out to be (as expected) aimed at children. So, I swam upstream and found this Pure Blends stuff and it is new to me. I didn't know the Debian project did such.

Has anyone used their pure blends stuff?

Looks interesting but don't see the need for it anymore, last time I ran Debian on iron everything worked out of the box unless you would like to create your own installation media for Debian. So that you have your installer install a clean system for you with all your programs and configurations automatically setup, what you normally install, run and configure after the normal Debian installer is finished.
