To all who celebrate Happy 4th of July!

I'll be fairly busy this weekend. (It's a long story.)

In one form or another, we've made it some 250 years. Well, almost. It's still just the 3rd here in the US.

I've already got guests for the weekend. So, I'll be occupied for a few days.

sadly where we are at, too hot for anyone in the house (No Central A/C, No AC inside but in the bedrooms)
SE PA Is roasting at the moment.

I can relate. Yesterday was 101 and today was 102! Humidity 80 plus percentile.
Heat exhaustion is real friend so stay in the bedrooms with the AC.

Try to have a nice 4th of July.

Happy 4th of July to all.

And as I advise every year, be careful with your celebrations and don't blow up anything that I wouldn't blow up. (that leaves you plenty of leeway but, still, be safe).

Happy 4th to all the American members here!
I'm glad you qualified that with "American members", Maarten. I know what it's all about, of course, but to us in the UK it's just another July day.

I suspect to many Brits, all it does is make them think of the Jeff Goldblum film.

Of course, if WE talk about the 5th November, most other nationalities haven't a clue what we're rabbitting on about..!

(shrug...)

Mike. ;)

Sure I do, it's Guy Fawkes day.
"Remember, remember the 5th of November, the gunpowder treason and plot.
I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot......."

Las Vegas here. AC went out two days ago 30000+ later cooling restored. It becomes a real safety issue when it is a 110 + inside and outside. Global warming is real my friends...
