Change distros or just rename...

Why is the first pic better than the second ? Maybe just a tad clearer ?
Just in that she's a little more naturally positioned - a longer stance to her body and her head not held quite so high. It may look like her head is being held up by the leash but that's really not the case. I feel like the photographer could have taken a few more moments to let the dog be repositioned for the second picture. (It was the same photographer for both pictures.)

Fussiness counts !

Fussiness counts !
Those pictures cost about fifty bucks each, so I probably would have only bought one of them, but the spare hooman says even getting a second place at the national specialty show is worth having a picture - and it's her money, ;)

I won't have pictures of it for a day or two, but Tater got her second "major" today and even got second place in the herding group at New Castle today so all she needs is a few more individual points (no more 3+ point major shows required). There are two more shows this weekend, both of which are majors, at the same venue, though we're hoping Georgie will take the points in one of them because she does still need a major.

Well, Dolly's home from the vet after getting Spayed today, so I guess there'll be no more puppies from her. Of course she's a bit old for that sort of thing anyway and besides, she's already produced one pupper so what would be the point?

She's doing well - doesn't seem to even be in any major discomfort.

Poor little bugger !!....that may be her 'normal' disposition, but she looks less than happy to me.
Treats are called for, and attention !

Yes, that's her more or less usual disposition. She's not a big fan of the cone and I'm sure her tummy's not exactly comfortable, but she's a trooper. She's not actually wearing the cone right now but we'll put it back on at bed time, and only that for about four days.

Lots of attention, not too heavy on the treats until tomorrow. She's allowed to have a light supper tonight, which I suspect she's more than ready for as it's been about 27 hours since she last ate. Just thinking about that makes -me- hungry.

The whole thing's only a little more traumatic than me giving her a bath yesterday.

She is obviously in good hands.

Ah, the cone of shame...
We prefer to think of it as a sort of "Bussard Ramjet", for scooping up MilkBone ions from the interstellar medium.
