this popped up in my feed a few days ago and I watched a bit of it last night, figured some folks here would appreciate it as it's quite the blast from the past. I'm not really sure when this was filmed though one of the comments there indicates ~1956. the technology is all pre touch-tone telephone and that was being phased out when I was born - my folks did have an old 70s-era lime green rotary phone from back in the day when i was a child but it didnt work when connected that I remember.

all of this stuff is historical, none of these systems really exist anymore - but I enjoyed watching it. maybe you will as well!

Link is fine, it even populates on the forum with video title and thumbnail, if you have video playback errors then this is on your end.

weird. I was able to play the in-forum link as well as on youtube directly but then again I tested it across 2x browsers before posting (i exclusively use firefox for this forum & other linux queries, and Chromium for everything else). not sure what would cause that.
