Cannot Login To Kali Linux 2020.1 I386

Hi Can Someone Help me I installed kali linux with minimal tools only no desktop enviroment no metapackages on a pc Amd Duron 1,38 ghz 768mb ddr1 ram nvidia geforce2 64 mb vram after installing i booted the system and wanted to install xfce4 i typed insudo apt install xfce4 and it said xfce4 was not found i tried sudo apt udate that didnt work either in /etc/apt/sources.list the repository was missing so i added
deb [trusted=yes] http://http.kali.org/kali kali-rolling main non-free contrib
and apt update worked the i typed in sudo apt upgrade and then after uograding packages i tried sudo apt install xfce4 but sudo didn't work so i restarted it and the system booted like normal an dthen it asked me for login i typed in kali and pressed enter i set the username to kali but it said login incorrect what do i do now? im stuck on this screen

Are you experienced in using Linux ? if yes continue reading, if no go to the Kali docs pages and read them thougherly

the DHD1300 AMT 1B cpu was never brilliant even on 32 bit, you may do better finding a compleat 32 bit build, but bear in mind it will not be able to run many of the newer tools, normally I would suggest upgrading to a second hand Athlon, but unfortunately they are not computable
my recommendations would be to pick up a cheap laptop/desktop with a 64 bit twin core CPU and at least 2 GB ram from 2008 or newer, and install the full Kali distribution on that
