Not sure where this is meant to be. Admin pls move if needed. This pic is of a head, mine. 20 or so years ago i was diagnosed with a Cerebral Aneurysm. It was classed as large, 18 mm. It needed two Sugita Clips. They are Titanium. I was told i was the first person in Aus to survive with two clips. Had nothing to loose i guess. Initial symptoms was what is classed as a thunderclap headache. I ignored it for a bit. Eventually my body began to look like i was having a stroke, arms twisted, i was in gaga land. It was done as an emergency. They generally look like a berry, hence the term berry aneurysm, they have a bulge then a stem, bit like a balloon. Mine had no stem, it was 18 mm from top to bottom. I passed during surgery but they brought me back. Yes i went to a better place. Will speak about that at a later date. Now the aftermath, it changes you, dramatically. I am not the person i once was. It is difficult to adjust to. There is a new me who can see the old me. Took a long time to adapt, many years in fact. My take on it is when the old brain is exposed to daylight a bit of the soul escapes. Because i snuffed it and was returned i got a bit of a new soul mixed with the old. This is my interpritation anyhow. I had a lot of anger issues but that was eventually got under control with a tablet. Now i am happy to be still on the planet but let me tell you there were times, i came close. I would not/could not have made it without my darling wife. There are no words to describe her. I am one hell of a lucky man to have her. I still make mistakes and do funny things. I ask myself soon after what did i do that for. Anyhow that will do for now. Apologies for spelling mistakes.View attachment 25841View attachment 25841

I do not know why there are two pics, my mistake. The annie was deep in between the two side quarters. I do believe it is now common to have two or more clips. The xray is a side on view.

I've buggered it Noel, my bad.

I tried to remove one for you, and it did not go to plan, I should have left well enough alone.

If you wish, you can insert the picture in your original Post, or else add it as a separate post.

I will keep my mitts off it.

It is an inspirational story.

I popped another one on Wiz. Do not worry about it. I say all the time we learn by our mistakes, though you did not really make one. Have a terrific day.

You too, mate.

I figure that every day that I wake up is the start of a terrific day.

The cup is 75 - 80 % full, room for improvement, but pretty good.

Oddly, I just saw a video on this yesterday. I learned that like 50% of us have one, but most don't get diagnosed for it until it's much too late. In the cases where it goes unknown, it also likely wouldn't have been something they wanted to treat. If they're small, they aren't anything to worry about.

The dude's videos are generally well-rehearsed. I know very little about the subject, so I'm just sharing what I learned.

You can, and many do, go your whole life without it being a problem.

I guess that means we can be grateful.

Is there a chance that they'll replace the titanium clamps holding things together?

It is an interesting subject. The clips are permanent. One of my first questions was can they fall off. Have not had it happen yet was the reply.. The unformed spots you speak of are called white spots from memory. They can sit there for a lifetime and cause no hassels.

How funny I should happen to come across you post today. I'm dealing with similar issues. Not an aneurysm, cancer. I'm not the same.
