On multiple attempts yesterday to download the 2.9 GB Linux Virginia file, from morning to past midnight, the network connection failed repeatedly, per screenshot. Messages while downloading were saying, 'This is going to take 2-3 days.' Finally, I let go of the obsession to get it done.
This morning, at breakfast we saw a most unusual flash of white light in the sky over the ridge. It was lightening, but really different. Afterwards, I started the download again, inquiring of higher self which mirror to use, and lay back down on the bed to hear my Oracle 'meditation with headphones.' Not saying there's connection between these happenings, just saying.
Half an hour later when I got up again, the download was almost completed and I had the joy to see it finalize. I asked higher self with the Oracle whether or not I should validate, and it said No. I started Etcher to flash to iso file to a USB stick, and Etcher gave the option to validate, which I ran. Some of this will sound woo woo to people, and that's okay, I am just sharing my experience as interpreted.
Yay! Now I can test out Linux Mint Cinnamon Virginia from the bootable USB. Surely there are still adventures ahead....
