Hello, I run Mint, or try to.
I have 1 pc 1 Laptop. The Pc has Linux Mint, the Laptop has Windows.
My internet provider has 2 Wlan lines here, one 2.4G, and one 5G. I was with both, laptop and PC in the 5G one.
Then the 5 G one dissapeared, but only from the Linux PC, its only in the 2.4g one now, The Laptop is still in the 5G. Also The internet speed on the linux PC turned to a crawl, while the Laptop Still has the standard speed. Ive tried disconnectic the Laptop completely, nothing changed, Ive restarted couple of times, nothing changed.
Also ive noticed the Windows Laptop sees like 10 different WLans around here, wheras the Linux PC only sees 2 now.
Is this fixable? Because I have no idea what to do, besides reinstalling the Linux pc to see if it changes something.
Any Ideas?

How do to get WiFi signal on that PC? Is it PCI-E card? USB? Describe it, take a photo of the hardware and upload here.
It could be hardware issue which is affecting signal strength on that PC.

Windows laptop is not affecting WiFi on your Linux PC, you can leave it be. It works as intended, and it's not reason for WiFi slowness on PC.

I don't think this is going to solve anything. You already have WiFi driver which works - shows you networks, and connects to them. You just have weak signal for some reason.
Linux is not Windows - in Linux, things are much more binary - it either works or not. No "I will try again and eventually it may work" inconsistency, it's very rare there.

You have WiFi, just weaker signal. Please provide what I asked for.
 
Jo the reinstall didnt work anyway, my mint boot stick doesnt wanna boot anymore for some reason.
The Wlan in the Linux PC receives via the motherboard
a X870E Aorus Pro Ice, with Wifi 7.
Edit: I just noticed that my motherboard also came with BT a wifi antenna. Just took it out of the box. Completely forgotten about it. The speed is still bad, but, it detects like 50 wlans now, instead of 2, unfortunately the one 5G that I pay for is not among them. Tell me that isnt weird? .)
The router is standing right in bewtween the 2 btw, i dont know.

Completely unrelated, and probably user induced problem. Mint is used by millions of people, it just works. Open a new thread if you have issue with installing Linux Mint on a USB stick, or read existing threads. Some guidelines for installing Linux Mint on a USB stick here:

Okay, so now we are getting to the bottom of the matter.
You have Gigabyte WiFi motherboard, with WiFi built in. WiFi antennas are at the back, right?
Pick up your PC and place it next to your router. Scan for networks and check if you have 5/5 signal for your 5G SSID. Report back.

Between the two what? Take Windows laptop out of the equation, it's not a problem here. Problem is between PC and the router: either issue with WiFi hardware (motherboard itself, or antennas), or software (Linux driver).

No, the Antenna is connected via cable to the motherboard and is standing on the table right next to the router.

Ahm how do i do that? Is that that nnmap ? But I have 0 connection to that 5g network, it just dissapeared.

wlp16s0 Interface doesn't support scanning.




Edit. Der speed ist jetzt grade deutlich in die höhe gegangen. Allerdings im 2.4 Netzwerk. Das 5er is immernoch ewg.
